HR Project Manager

Working in partnership with you, Helen will help you deal with a one-off or short-term HR problem that either requires specific knowledge and experience you do not currently have within your business, or your HR function might not have enough time to dedicate to it.

Typical HR issues

Employing people and managing HR issues go hand-in-hand. By recognising problems early on and nipping them in the bud, you will reduce their impact and save time in the long run. You may need advice and support on HR issues such as:

  • Recruiting and retaining the right skilled employees
  • Managing disciplinary and grievance issues fairly and reducing the risk of a claim for unfair dismissal
  • Managing redundancies to produce the intended outcomes and minimise any disruption to the day-to-day operation
  • Managing short and long-term absence
  • Drafting contracts of employment to protect the interests of your business
  • Designing HR policies and procedures that fit your company and which will protect it in the event of an employment tribunal claim
  • Managing a TUPE transfer if your business or an area of the company transfers to a new employer
